Applicable to radar, multi-band VSAT, cellular base stations, and point-to-point radio systems
TGA2583 is an s-band MMIC amplifier produced by TriQuint using their SiC process (TQGaN25) with 0.25um GaN. It covers the frequency range of 2.7 - 3.7GHz, providing a saturated output power of 10W and a small-signal gain of 33dB, while achieving a power increase efficiency of 54%. By increasing the drain voltage, higher power can be obtained at the cost of PAE.
TGA2583 is an ideal choice for phased array S-band radar, capable of supporting both short pulse and continuous wave conditions simultaneously.
Both RF ports are equipped with DC blocking capacitors and are perfectly matched to 50 ohms.
