Suitable for electronic warfare, radar, multi-band VSAT, instrument testing, point-to-point radio
TGA2963 is a broadband high-power MMIC amplifier, produced using Qorvo's SiC process (QGAN15) with 0.15um GaN. It operates in the frequency range of 6-18GHz, providing a saturated output power of over 20W, with a power increase efficiency of >20% and a large-signal gain of >20dB. This combination of broadband performance offers designers flexibility to enhance system performance while reducing size and cost.
TGA2963 is matched to 50Ω, and integrated DC blocking capacitors are present at both the two RF input/output ports, simplifying system integration. Its wideband performance makes it highly suitable for supporting test instruments and electronic warfare, as well as supporting multiple radar and communication frequency bands.
TGA2963 was subjected to 100% DC and RF tests on the wafer to ensure compliance with electrical specifications.
