• 14.5 dB of received signal gain and 7.5 dB of bypass loss
The Qorvo® QPF4658 is an integrated front-end module (FEM) specifically designed for Wi-Fi 6 and 6E (802.11ax) systems. Its compact design and integrated matching minimize the layout area in applications.
The key aspect of the performance lies in optimizing the PA for a 5V power supply voltage, in order to reduce power consumption while maintaining the highest linear output power and front-end throughput.
This was accomplished within the wide bandwidth range for operation across all channels of UNII5-8 (5.9 to 7.1 GHz). It includes integrated chip-level filtering for secondary and tertiary harmonics, as well as 2.4 GHz suppression for DBDC operation. A coupler with RF output and a wide range and constant slope.
The voltage logarithmic power detector is used for application feedback.
QPF4658 integrates a 6-7 GHz power amplifier (PA), a single-pole double-throw switch (SP2T), and a bypassable low-noise amplifier (LNA) into a single device.
