Qorvo's QPA2237 is a broadband amplifier manufactured on the 0.25um GaN on SiC process produced by Qorvo. The operating frequency of QPA2237 ranges from 0.03 to 2.5 GHz, providing a saturated output power of 10W, a large-signal gain of 13 dB, and a power-added efficiency of 52%.
The QPA2237 features a low-cost, surface-mount, 20-lead, 4x4 OVM QFN. It is highly suitable for supporting the defense and commercial markets as well as radar and communication applications in electronic warfare. The QPA2237 perfectly matches the 50Ω at both RF ports, allowing for simple system integration. Both RF ports require a DC block, and the drain voltage must be injected through the external bias three-way valve on the chip at the RF output port. It is lead-free and complies with RoHS standards.
