Pulsar's voltage-controlled phase shifter uses direct current voltage to control the phase of the applied radio frequency signal. These phase shifters utilize varactor diodes to generate the necessary phase requirements. Phase designs of 180 degrees and 360 degrees are available, and the phase can be controlled using 0-20 Vdc direct current voltage. The modulation of these phase shifters is typically 100 kHz, and the maximum input power is +5 dBm.
There are various packaging styles to choose from, such as insert type, flat packaging, TO-can and connector housing, but the most popular one is the micro surface mount packaging. Surface mount packaging can be packaged in rolls and is used for automated assembly techniques.
