The "TETHYS" 30W series from CGDx is a complete range of highly configurable DC/DC thin power modules, designed to be directly implemented on high-density printed circuit boards specifically designed for aerospace, military and industrial applications. 

This module is highly suitable for typical 24V, 28V Mil/Aero DC input buses or 12V, 24V, 37.5V, 48V or 72V DC industrial applications. This module adopts 480 KHz high-frequency fixed switching technology, featuring excellent reliability, low noise characteristics and a compact package. The standard model offers a wide range of inputs and thousands of output configuration options, providing up to 6 possible output voltages (3V, 3V, 5V, 12V, 15V, 24V), and has adjustment and detection functions, allowing the output voltage to be adjusted. The CGDx series can provide 30W output power within the enclosure temperature range without the need for an external heat sink. All modules are designed with LC network filters to minimize the reflected input current ripple and output voltage ripple. 

These modules include under-voltage locking, permanent short-circuit protection, output over-voltage protection and thermal protection to ensure effective module protection. Soft start allows for current limitation and eliminates the surge current during startup. Short-circuit protection completely protects the module from any short circuit for any duration through the disabling function, and returns to normal after the overload is eliminated. The thermal protection function prevents the module from overheating. 

The disabling function is commanded by a low logic level signal, and the application modules that require on/off operations are also disabled.
